The Chicken is good and simple for rotisserie. The Yuca is gret but i am always disappointed with the fried platanos. I ordered a whole chicken, and got sides of fried yucca and tostones. I bought 3 chicken empanadas to taste them. The best part of the meal was the sides, the yucca was fried just right, and so were the tostones. The empanadas were more like arepas and were very good. The main menu item, and the places namesake - the chicken was not to my liking. I think it began with the marinade. I've had polloa asado all over Houston and in Nicaragua. This place's chicken was not tasty and the skin was not slightly crunch. It wasn't bad, just I think that there are better places for this type of food in Houston. You can't beat the prices either. They have stayed the same for many years. For about $5 you get a dinner (1/4 chicken, 3 sides and a drink). Plenty for an adult. They recently started charging a quarter extra ($0.25) for all white meat and the plantains, but that is still a great deal.
