MY REVIEW: Strong points: good food.
Weak Points: if you order takeout-----be sure to check it BEFORE you leave or chances are you will get home only to discover that your order is not correct.

MY REVIEW: Possibly the best muffaletta in Houston, I even prefer it over the C*entral Grocery in New Orleans. The wife and I pick one up at least once a week. We eat on it for two days. Wife really likes the seafood gumbo, I' m not much for seafood... but its not bad. I prefer the Texas chili. I think I have found chili that can rival my Mom's recipe ( dont tell her I said that). Anyway, thats the only items we eat, why ruin a good thing. Restaurant can get a little messy at times, but it stays packed and I'm sure they get it cleaned up as soon as they get a chance. Nice employees, everybody seems toblike their jobs. I dont know of any downside to this place. Oh yea, the give out organic suckers at the register that are excellent... and I believe they give free ice cream cones for dessert. Ya cant beat that!

MY REVIEW: I love this place!! I am a GLUTEN FREE GIRL & Jason's Deli has a awesome selection of GF!! They also sold me a loaf of the best GF bread I have ever had, which is UDI'S for 12.99$ the price is pretty good, because the loaf that you would buy in the store (if u can find it) is small for 6.00$. Anyway knowing that I can go and eat a fresh GF sandwich and salad/soup there makes my tummy happy!!

MY REVIEW: WOW!! Two adults and one toddler ate for $25. Best and freshest, most delicious fruits we have ever eaten! Wonder where they get these fantastic fruits from. The sandwich was awesome! Fresh and delicious.
We ordered from the Lite Menu. Thank GOD they have a smart menu like that. It tells you calories, and fat contents. Wonderful. Wrap was also great. Tea was very good, and I am super picky about my iced tea. I had two glasses, it was so delicious! Server was kind, and sweet to our toddler. :)
We love this restaurant and cannot wait to return! One of our new favorite places. Great for Healthy Eating :)

MY REVIEW: We (two in our seventies, sometimes one in his thirties, one teenager, and/or one infant) come at least once per week because we enjoy the atmosphere, the selection of freshly-prepared food, and the combination of service with what we do for ourselves that lets us eat quickly. The Manager's Special of a cup of soup and half a sandwich is a good deal or, if two of us can agree, a whole sandwich and two cups of soup are even better. Soups are kept at a minimum safe temperature, so we ask for extra heating. The free cornbread, gingerbread, crackers, nuts and soft-serve round out the experience. Soft-serve quality varies; we are still trying to figure which days and times are best.

MY REVIEW: Several co-workers and I ordered delivery from this location. We were told there was a $25 minimum (which i'm sure applies to all locations). When the order arrived we found out they had billed us an additional $7 fee for delivery- which was not specified when we placed the order, nor is it stated in the delivery menu. We had to short the driver a tip due to the discrepancy of the bill total and lack of communication on their part.
The food at Jason's deli is always good, and this time was no exception, although I was shorted half my sandwich and not given the correct side order.
It's dissapointing that this location was not clear on their fees, because we have placed company orders with Jason's Deli before, and will either use different locations or choose another business in the future.

MY REVIEW: I'll admit I've never been to a New York deli, or even K*atz in Houston for that matter. But this seems like a good example of what a deli should be. I enjoy their sandwiches and the choice of breads you get. And I like the soups I have tried so far---tomato basil and chili are my favorites. Chicken pot pie not so much, though. Salad bar has some items others don't. Such as artichokes, roasted-pepper humus, (almost too) mustard potato salad, pickeled okra, bite-size cornbread & gingerbread muffins, etc. Kids menu has good variety and is reasonably priced. A little bit of everything for the entire family, including free soft-serve ice cream.

MY REVIEW: I love this place. Everything is great! My husband and I visit at least every two weeks! We love the salad bar, the Ranchero Wrap, and the Tortilla Soup that they serve on Wednesdays and Saturdays is wonderful! They always have plenty of management staff on duty who are very accomoadating, and willing to fix it if it is not right! Keep up the good work Jasons!

MY REVIEW: Awww. They pulled the Asian salad off the salad bar. According to the Manager they rotate some menu items quarterly. Too bad, it was awesome. Making a call to corporate now.

MY REVIEW: I love Jasons Deli. I usually get a takeout Salad Bar. For $7.50 (tax included), I can have 3 healthy salads from the 1 large box and 2 side dish containers. Totally great value!

MY REVIEW: We always enjoy going to Jason's Deli and have been to this location more than any of the others. My husband is a big fan of the salad bar and I find the variety of soups are quite delicious. I especially like the soup and sandwich combo. The California Club is probably my favorite but I have tried several other sandwiches. Jason's is often chosen for catering at lunch meetings at my office too.

MY REVIEW: I work near one of Jason's competitors to which it is often favorably compared. Although Jason's is good, there are some small annoyances that keep it from being great. Their "Jason's chips" which come with a sandwich are a huge rip-off at 1 oz., especially when you're paying $6 or more for a sandwich. The new location at Westheimer and Wilcrest seemed to be getting off on the right foot - great service - but on a second visit the to-go lady could hardly be bothered to take my order. And another employee, sniffling up a storm, was hanging out and moaning about how sick she was. Not appetizing!
And about that salad bar.... I have accepted the weirdness of Texas salad bars, which for some reason have to include chcoolate chip muffins and such, but any salad bar worth its salt doesn't have those horrid little faux carrots. How hard is it to chop a real carrot? W*endy's and the like have had a profound effect on salads in this country. What a pity Jason's, which seems like a smart restaurant, couldn't offer some plain veg for people who want real salad, and not the fake American style ones with horrid gluey potato salad and gelatin.

MY REVIEW: We like Jason's and have been to this specific restaurant 3 times. Lunch and dinner are about the same.
The food is good, sandwiches are great, but the salad bar is just so so.
Customer service is lacking. Like the previous reviewer said about the to go orders, our to go order was late, and missing an item when we checked it. They did supply the item when it was noticed, but still the hassle and delay is no fun.
