MY REVIEW: The meatballs were good, but the sauces were liquidy. The restaurant seemed too casual for the prices on the menu. There was no bread; what kind of Italian restaurant offers no bread or grated cheese? The service was very slow.

MY REVIEW: Made a big mistake trying Mario's for lunch. The restaurant was not busy at all, yet it took almost 45 minutes for our food. My son's Chicken Rollatini Marsala was cold and tasteless, my daughter's Alfredo was very watery, and my Tomato Basil Soup tasted like they opened a can of tomato paste and added water to it. We are not picky eaters, and I have never written a negative review before, but the food and service were too awful to not let others know. Also realized after the fact that we were given the dinner menu(at 12:00 in the afternoon) instead of the lunch menu . . . more money for them on a slow day I guess. There are plenty of other good restaurants on the seawall - avoid this one.

MY REVIEW: GREAT pizza. Had the spicy shrimp pizza and it was fantastic. Sadly, the waiter was not so great. He essentially ignored me until the end of the meal, then wanted to chat and asked me many personal questions (are you married? where do you work? etc.) and READ OVER MY SHOULDER and made comments on the work I was doing. I really liked the food, but I will probably not go back because of the service.

MY REVIEW: It looks a bit dumpy on the outside but is standardly decorated inside. The bathrooms are clean and you can see into the kitchen. We ordered spaghetti w/marinara, chicken parm and alfredo. All had the wateriest sauce I've ever dealt with! It was splashing all over us as we wound it around the fork, even the alfredo. So so food, waiter was slow and my daghter was served an obviously meaty spaghetti when she clearly asked for marinara. We won't be going back.

MY REVIEW: We were in town for the Motor cycle rally. The hotel we were staying at told us to go to the Mario's on the Seawall and we did. They know there stuff. We had group of ten and we were seated quickly and give prompt service. I ate the fettucine alfredo with seafood and thought I died and went to heaven it was so good. My friends shared pizza and I had to take a bite because it smelled so good. We will be back!! Thank you Robert for the attention.

MY REVIEW: I have enjoyed eating at Mario's Seawall for over 10 years. My wife and I enjoy eating on the Patio. Everyone has always been friendly and they always bring our drinks before we even order, now thats attention. I think the pizza is great for afternoon eating but the pasta dishes are great for evening dinning. Highly recommend.

MY REVIEW: YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just loved the whole experience. We had a group of 14 and were treated like royalty. They even gave the kids some pizza dough to play with! They were having such a good time. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
This is the greatest place to eat on the sea wall. VISIT THIS PLACE..YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

MY REVIEW: We have been eating about 2-3 time a month for several years (mostly in the evening) and have always enjoyed the food and view on the beach. The food is very well prepared and price reasonably. The alfredo is one the best I have tasted.

MY REVIEW: Used to love the place for dinning in and quick delivery, but after being treated extremely rude on the phone by the hostess and then ignored by the manager my family will not be using their services again. We ordered from them for years at least once a week sometime more. This is not the first time we have been mistreated on the phone by their staff, but it is the last time. We will eat cardboard frozen pizza before giving them another cent. Ciao bella!

MY REVIEW: Mario's Seawall is been our favorite place for our family for many years now. We always get the calamari and crab claws for appetizers. Our dinner choices have been everything from the specials to pizza. I feel its the best Galveston has to offer for families. My family gives it a 9 out of 10 score.

MY REVIEW: Food was very good, ONCE IT FINALLY ARRIVED! It took over an hour to get our meal after we finhed our salad. Waiter first said our order was taking a little onger due to it being a large order (I guess 5 people is a large group???) He came back quite some time later and said it would be another 10 minutes and gave this vague explanation of putting food in the over to glaze the surface??? He then came back 10 minutes later with this "you all have these sad puppy dog faces, what can I do to make you happy" speech, which we replied bring our food. As soon as he left i summoned the manager that happened to be walking through. I asked him why at least three tables that came in after us had just finihsed eating and were leaving when we hadnt got our food. He went back apparently read waiter riot act and our food arrived within 10 more minutes. Manager came back said sorry waiter messed up and the food will be right out. They did not offer to pick up the bill, give us free deserts or anything for the horrible service and lying waiter. This is the only time in my life I actually left a $1 tip for a party of five just so they would know I did not forget to tip. Waiter never did say sorry i messed up and manager did nothing to make it up to us. A very sorry staff. If this was the only place open in Galveston Island I would drive to Houston before I ate there again.

MY REVIEW: Good place, but I love Southern Italian. I eat the veal roll stuffed with proscuito and cheese, topped with mushrooms and marsala gravy and with linguine. I love the pepperoni pie, that is what I get when I go to the one on 61st street.
