10896 Northwest Fwy, Houston, Texas 77092 713.680.1828 MY REVIEW: Many employees, most doing nothing Wait staff eating and drinking in view while we can't place order Old,and I mean old tasting shrimp, certainly not fresh. Medium shrimp billed as "The biggest and best in town" I laugh then sob. Rock hard hush puppies. Our waitstaff was too busy eating to offer good service. French fries over cooked,(some dark brown). Seemed to lack direction. Was I perhaps too harsh? Nope.Very disapointed.

10896 Northwest Fwy, Houston, Texas 77092 713.680.1828 MY REVIEW: This is by far the best place to get quality seafood at a reasonable price. I have been a regular here for years and if the quality of the food ordered was not up to expectations, the manager has always replaced it. This is a customer friendly restaurant and the manager Tuscon is great. Can get a little rowdy at the bar at times. The shrimp are the best around. There is always a weekly special for around $10 that will be more that you can eat. I prefer the jalapeno boudain. The gumbo is the best I have eaten and is right up there with G**dos. The oysters are the best and the freshest. Hate that draft beer is gone though. Also try the boiled shrimp. They are excellent!

222 W Rankin Rd, Houston, Texas 77090 281.876.2533 MY REVIEW: Won't be going to Red L*obster anymore! The shrimp were huge and delicious! The fries dipped in the tartar sauce were yummy scrummy. Diablo shrimp pack quite a punch so be careful. Everything was wonderful and flavorful. Can't wait to go back!

10896 Northwest Fwy, Houston, Texas 77092 713.680.1828 MY REVIEW: This is not the place to go for a well-rounded meal. The seafood is adequate, but the sides are mediocre to just plain bad, and you could break a window with one of their tough, overcooked, freezer-burned hush puppies. All in all, not worth the bother. Unless you skip all the sides. By the way, they rinse the saltwater from their shelled oysters under the tap (a HUGE no-no for oyster lovers).

8253 Gulf Fwy, Houston, Texas 77017 713.643.0589 MY REVIEW: The absolute best peel n' eat shrimp in Houston. Can't beat the price on anything they have there. Not kid friendly seating, but don't let this sway your decision in coming here,(barstool setting)but we make it work cause the food is awesome. Very casual and the service is great and fast. My wife had the oysters and she said they were the best oysters she's had since her trip to Alaska, thats saying alot. Best kept secret in Houston.I wish all seafood establishments could be half as good as this place.

10896 Northwest Fwy, Houston, Texas 77092 713.680.1828 MY REVIEW: The food was overpriced and the gumbo was full of okra. For what we spent on lunch, we could have shared something really tasty at Willie G's and had good service, too. I can't go back.

10896 Northwest Fwy, Houston, Texas 77092 713.680.1828 MY REVIEW: First visit. Service good, price fair, the food was good nothing great. Houston has plenty of restaurants of this quality. So if you live close check them out just do not waste good gas for this middle of the road place. Remember Mambo knows food.

10896 Northwest Fwy, Houston, Texas 77092 713.680.1828 MY REVIEW: the absolute best kept secret in houston for magnificent fried shrimp. let me explain my basis #1 houston is a very large city with ton's of seafood restaurants #2 houston's very close to the gulf of mexico #3 you would think that given the first two facts that there would be great seafood at your fingertips, not so.(my opinion)
this shrimp boat looking restuarant makes corn meal battered butterflyed shrimp that are fried within splattering distance from where you can sit as far as i am concerned there is no other place to get a fried shrimp fix at any cost in houston

10896 Northwest Fwy, Houston, Texas 77092 713.680.1828 MY REVIEW: We are regulars here. No pretentious atmosphere, just good folks serving good seafood and no worries about expensive landscaping or decor.
Just about the freshest seafood you can get this far from the ocean. The gumbo is the best in town as well.

222 W Rankin Rd, Houston, Texas 77090 281.876.2533 MY REVIEW: This is great, casual setting, set up more like a bar and restaurant. very casual, good place to watch the game while you eat. this is one of my favorite places to eat. everything is fresh and prices are fare. if you like oysters, they pop the shells right there in front of you and outside is lined with oyster shells in flower beds, kinda cute. don't expect to get pampered, just full on good food.
