MY REVIEW: Have been going there since I can remember. Many memories have been made at this resturant. As I came over the hill today to get lunch, as I have for years. To my surprise it was gone! CLOSED! From someone near by said that the last day was Saturday May 5th, 2007.
Thank you for all the good times, and the great food. I am going to miss the wonderful CREME GRAVY!! I feel I have lost a friend.

MY REVIEW: We had a going away party for some TEXAS friends. This was the perfect place to give a real Texas send off. It was a first visit for most of us, but the ones that had been there before couldn't wait to return. The service was great for such a group (25 people) and it was his first day on the job. The restaurant was very accommodating, not only did they agree we could bring a cake but when it was time to serve the cake they brought plates/forks/napkins. The entire staff was great. It made our night special. THANKS!!!

MY REVIEW: The restaurant has a warm ambiance and has a wonderful menu that gives choices for everyone. The food is outstanding and merits a 5-star. The entertainment was wonderful. We even danced a few times.
The occasion was a group of former classmtes from high school met to have dinner. We've been back a couple of times and plan to be there on the 16th of February. Take your VALENTINE....he/she will love it. Of course, it helps to be over 40. LOL!

MY REVIEW: My partner and I have been in the process of buying a house near this restaurant. I found out about this place by doing a zip code search on B4-U-Eat. This is a throw back to that Texas themed steakhouse you parents took to when you were a kid. The tables look like picnic tables and they can be pulled together for large parties which there were plenty of on the Saturday night we went. A live band plays old fashion country music. Like the kind you would hear on the old TV show Hee Haw. Nothing too loud or risqué. And there even is a dance floor.
The Texas theme continues through out the menu. The names of the steak choices are Cowboy, Cowgirl and Wrangler just to name a few. The service was a bit slow. But like I said before there a lot of big tables. The steak was cook just as I had requested and the sides are the usual baked potato or fries or steam veggies and few extra I cannot remember right now. Each table also gets a bowl of beans to share. Now these are not the usual open a can of Ranch Style brand beans and heat. These tasted different. But still tasted like they came from a can.
My partner and I plan on taking his parents here the next time they are in town for a visit. So if your parents are over 50 and would like to go somewhere they can dance. Please remember this place. Oh, by the way there is also a full bar so the dancing and drinking can go on all night.

MY REVIEW: Me and my husband both had the Wagon Wheel meal which is filet mignon...and I have to admit that when I first seen it , it looked like it was burnt because we ordered it med. well. But it was one of the most tender steaks that I have ever put into my mouth. The wait service was super friendly and very attentive. I will always go back to eat here!!!!!!

MY REVIEW: The steak prices have increased recently. A person told me they had to increase the price to keep the doors open. Their prices are almost the same as Ste*ak and Ale. I will not say Pecos Grill will by my only choice for a steakhouse going forward. The exceptional value is gone.

MY REVIEW: The food is very good for the price. It is a great place for family dinner and large groups. There was a live band on Friday night that really added excitement to the evening. This is a well kept secret. You must try.

MY REVIEW: I visited for the first time on Friday and, it is not the kind of place that I would normally choose but, one of my friends kept telling me that they had great fried catfish. I didn't get the catfish I got fatijas, and it was okay but, my sister-in-law let me taste the fish and it is so delicious. It tasted just like my mother fried it. I still have the taste in my mouth. I will get it next time. The band was rocking with some old tunes and, they do a good job. The peach cobbler is good also. They smoke at the bar and, it was close to where we were sitting it and, I didn't like that but overall it was nice.

MY REVIEW: Been going here for 33 years. Quality of food is excellent, service is attentive and cordial, drinks are good. We like it so well, we've held special family occasions there for these many years and they turn out fantastic, ie., birthdays, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners. The people are genuine and friendly! One of the best kept secrets on north/northwest side! I hope they stay in business for many more years to come.

MY REVIEW: Pecos Grill has great service, food taste is good, not a stand out, price is high on some items and fair on the rest. Will I go back. No. To many of the same around town. If you live close to Pecos Grill you go knowing you will get good service and flavor. They take care of the lunch crowd fast, knowing you have to be back to work soon. Remember Mambo knows food.

MY REVIEW: Excellent steaks & griiled catfish. Both always done just right - steak cokked ecactly to my specification. Catfish done and firm, but not overcooked. Sides are Okay. A very good dark bread. Staff very friendly and efficient. My only reservatiopn is that sometimes the food takes awhile to come. But a very enjoyable place.

MY REVIEW: Pretty good steaks, average sides. They turn out a mean burger though and the onion rings are hot and crisp. Small band some nights. Usually lots of families. Staff is friendly and efficient. Prices are nominal.

MY REVIEW: I've been eating there since it was the old Texas Tumbleweed. Pecos Grill continued to cook their steaks the same way. I've eaten a lot of different steaks at different restraunts and the only palce to get a better steak is [another place] (very expensive) or the steak off of my own grill. You'll that just about everything is good and fresh and plenty of it. If you've never been to Pecos, go on Friday or Saturday night they have a C & W band with dancing.
