MY REVIEW: My first visit to Casa Ole, after attending my grandson's basketball game his parents suggested Casa. There were two people standing by the entrance smoking, within a few feet of the door so we were welcomed by walking through their cloud. The waitress seemed distracted, didn't write our order down. Sure enough my wifes food was wrong and she seemed to forget my order. My food finally came out AFTER everybody was finished with their meal. I didn't want it at that point and told the waitress to take it back and take it off the bill. She brought the check and sure enough my dinner was on the check. The manager removed it and was very nice. There are plenty of Mexican food resteraunts in Pasadena, with that kind of service I won't be going back.

MY REVIEW: Always good. Quick with good customer service except this time. Hardly anyone in here and my glass empty for over 5 minutes. Wouldnt be so bad but waiter waitress hostess and manager all walked by and did not offer to refill drink. My waitress came by 5 minutes after them. I would suggest the staff be alert to all and not just their section or table. It definitely affect my thought of stopping back in as regularly. We come here ever sunday after church and get car washed next door. Maybe go back to friendswood to get car washed and eat at r*anchos instead. Anyways this place is usually great but definitely frusteating today.

MY REVIEW: Typically I avoid Mexican buffets. The food (especially enchiladas) doesn't seem to make the trip from kitchen to steamtable very well. I went to Casa Ole with the intention of ordering off the menu, but they had just stocked the buffet for dinner and it looked good enough that I decided to chance it. Gotta admit, it was better than anticipated. A good variety for an absolute bargain $8.
Cheese and beef enchiladas were stuffed full of quality ingredients---they were hot and surprisingly tasty (I'm sure it helped that I arrived @ 4pm when they had just set-up the dinner buffet). Queso was better than most restaurants. Tamales and chicken flautas (it's hard to keep tamales soft and flautas crisp) were ok considering the challenges of a buffet. Taco meat and fixins' were very good. The tastiest thing was cubes of white meat chicken seasoned with bell peppers and onions in tomatoes---not sure what it's called, but it was quite good over rice or as a taco.
As Mexican buffets go, Casa Ole has done a good job at the Clear Lake store.

MY REVIEW: I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! My family and I have been coming to Casa Ole on El Camino for YEARS! I'd like to say it's my home away from home! We have tried other mexican resturants but the green sauce always brings me home to Casa Ole! There's NO place in this world that can make the sauce the way they do! Now that I am grown with a family of my own it's traditonaly become one of MY families favotires as well. My daughter (4yrs old) LOVE the green and red dip!! After eating there we always get an EX EX large red and green sauce TO GO with chips! My hubs is military so we are currently stationed in Oregon, and I miss the heck outta Texas! I crave Casa Ole all the time! Looking forward to going home in March!! Can't wait to see Tricia, Juan and all the others at my *home away from home* <3 good ole Casa Ole <3 YUM YUM!

MY REVIEW: weve been here before but this last time was the pits. The food was dry and rice was dried out. Not happy and think its under new management. Well never be back here at this location again... Too many good mexican mom and pops to eat at with much better food.

MY REVIEW: We love eating here. The food is consistantly good. They have recently introduced some pork dishes that are excellent. The staff is friendly and really cares whether my food was prepared correctly. The management is visable and interacts with customers. Great place to eat.

MY REVIEW: It had been years since we went here so we decided to give it a try.
Strong Points: Ms. Kitty was a great waitress, friendly, kind, funny. The rest of the staff was also wonderful. The Queso was flavorful. Chips were good too
Weak Points: Margaritas were not to my taste. Very Very tart. Gave me indegestion. The green/red sauces were bland. Ordered the Sampler Platter appetizer and it was very bland and we didnt finish it. Beef enchildas dinner was not very good and we didnt finish it either.
All in all, we left with indegestion and not very happy. Such a wonderful staff, but not very good food

MY REVIEW: Casa Ole has been my favorite restaurant since I was very little and will always be. It has a amazing food that I never ever get tired off. One waitress has known mean since I was born. The workers are always hard working and kind. Also you dont have to wait long for your food. While your waiting you can enjoy perfect salsa and chips. The restaurant always looks nice. I like the decorations and music. I go to casa ole once or twice a week and will always love it! Everyone should eat there!

MY REVIEW: Growing up, we ate at the Hwy 6 North location atleast 3 times a week (no joke- we liked it that much). I haven't been to a Casa Ole in about a year or so as I did not live close to one. I just moved to Stafford and was super excited about the convenience of my favorite rest. again!
This was hands down the worst mexican food I have ever had from a Casa Ole. I literally threw my entire taco salad away. BTW- how can you mess up a taco salad? I could not chew the chicken and gave up after about a minute or two trying all the pieces to make sure I was in fact eating rocks. The to-go kid told me that I could not have the red sauce and the green sauce to go and I had to choose?? Odd. Although the Murphy Rd. location sucks, I still love Casa Ole and will return to the one on HWY 6 instead.

MY REVIEW: The most important thing I can say not only about Mr. Bob but his entire TEAM, they know when it's "SHOW TIME". This entire establishment knows how to make you feel welcome and like part of the famliy. My 87yr old Grandmother LOVES this place, they not only know exactly what she will be ordering each time, they make her feel like a Queen, she aboustley loves Mr.Bob and the Casa Ole Family. Fiesta Friday's his Tuesday donations to The Rose organization to support Breast Cancer is fantastic. This entire Team Bob, Jaime and the Team go above and beyond every time I have ever seen them in action to make sure every customer is well take care of, and satisfied. Thank you all very much and keep up the great work, you will stay in business treating your customers like this for a long time. I can not wait to be 87years old and still coming in to see you all.

MY REVIEW: UNBELIEVABLE!That's all I can say about this location. My family and I came in after hurricane IKE. We were hot, frustrated and hungry. Just like the rest of the city. After visiting other restaurantsthat were open in the area, we had grown to expect poor service and rude employees. We were understanding because of the circumstances. However, when we visited Casa Ole on 290 the service was INCREDIBLY FANTASTIC and the employees were full of energy and eager to please their customers. When we offered the compliment to the manager, Bob, he said "he was truley blessed" to have the employees that he does. He also mentioned that almost all the employees, like our family, still had no power and that not one employee missed work. Bob then offered to give us a bag of ice, if we needed, since we didn't have power either. No wonder his employees were eager to work for him. My family and I truly appreciate Bob's sincerity and desire to please his customers. My family and I agreed, this will be the only mexican food restaurant we will visit (if not the only one). The rest of the restaurant world should look up and take note of this operator, Bob. He knows what he's doing and he is doing right! His employees obviously respect and love him as do his customers....especially this customer.

MY REVIEW: I will never eat at this Casa Ole again. I've had meals at many Casa Oles and have always enjoyed my experience. My ONLY reaason not to eat here is because the floors were absolutely filthy. My shoes were sticking to the floor with every step. The greasy dirt was visible from a distance. If management allows the visible areas of the restaurant to look like this, I can only imagine what the non public areas look like. I want to go home and wash my shoes.
