MY REVIEW: This is a pretty ancient eating establishment that hasn't been refreshed in quite a few years; along with the mall itself it has suffered from a lack of updating. Dark wood paneling and no windows reminds one of something designed and laid out in the late '70s (which it probably was). This could be a bad or good thing depending on your tastes in ambiance (I kind of like it, although I've always been atracted to old things). However, the restaurant is quite clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The portions are quite good and is very tasty (if you visit at the right time). I have gone on a weekday afternoon (around 5:30 P.M.) and some of the food had been sitting out for awhile. On a weekend the food is much fresher. The chicken fried steak is particularly good, I like it better than L*uby's. They always have specials which are advertised at the door, in particular I tried the spaghetti which is tasty. It is rarely crowded and is usually quiet which makes for good conversation (I can't stand restaurants with a bunch of TV's and loud music unless the food is EXTREMELY good) - I think the old wood paneling and carpet make for good acoustics. I would recommend this cafeteria to anyone that would like a change of pace from contemporary busy dining.

MY REVIEW: 9 on Food quality....2 on Ambiance..... 9.5 on Taste. From the smothered Pork Chops, Fried Chicken, Sweet Potatoes, Carrot Salad, Spanish Salad, Greens, Peach Cobble (Which by the way, my wife and I tried to take home for a Romantic Movie dessert...It didn't make it out of the restaurant...:-)) Corn, Teriyaki Chicken, Fried fish everything was GOOOOD. Don't go looking for Romance or Warn fuzzies, but Great Food at a Quality Price = Value. Would recommend over L*uby's Any day of the week and certainly on the Kids meals.

MY REVIEW: This place is like an inbred distant cousin to L*uby's. The food is mediocre at best. I had the beef stew and it tasted much like canned stew. Seriously the only thing they had good going for them was the sweet tea and maybe the rolls. The only reason I went there to eat was because a friend of mine tricked me into going. He said it was under new management and was better then beofre, but it was the same ol' Piccadilly I remember avoiding when I was younger. If you're in search of an inexpensive cafeteria style meal, go to L*uby's right accross the freeway. Or if you have a W*yatts Cafeteria near you, for the love of god go there instead.

MY REVIEW: Old, tired, played out. The food was bland. The service people moved and acted like zombies in an old aged home. The lack of windows in the place made me feel like I was in a block house. After 5 visits, I've had enough. Go to L*ubys just down the freeway.
