MY REVIEW: Been going to Bubba's for about six years - probably 40 times or so. I live in far west Houston now. But it draws me like a magnet when I'm in that part of town, particularly if I'm exiting the Hardy toll road at 610. St. Arnold's Lawnmower, a buffalo burger and jalapeno potato salad. Yeah, buddy! VERY friendly service.

MY REVIEW: Awesome, I recently moved from the galleria area and do miss this joint. the burgers are awesome, but try the buffalo hotdog. I travel from spring just to have their food, with the excuse that i have to go to the galleria mall for something. A must place for every Houstonite.

MY REVIEW: I found out about BTBS from a friend of mine that worked there for quite a while...and I quickly fell deeply in love with the Shack.

THE best place in Houston to eat for under $10, and THE best burgers in town. Get the buffalo meat on your burger -- it might sound gross, but it's only $1 extra, is leaner than chicken or turkey, and it tastes PHENOMENAL. And be sure to get the wheat bread -- their brand of wheat is called "S'wheat" (pronounced "sweet") bread, and it is to die for! They have an AMAZING hot sauce that you can use and/or buy in-store. And speaking of which, you can buy frozen buffalo meat directly from them!

All burger combos come with your choice of whatever chips you want, but the only downside is that they have no fries or onion rings -- because they want to be totally focused on grilling burgers! They have an incredible selection of drinks and beers, a very interesting interior atmosphere, a very relaxed porch area outside, and plenty of informal parking space. Add a great staff to the mix, and you've got....the best place in Houston to get your burger fix.

MY REVIEW: I grew up eating Bubba's burgers and they are easily some of, if not the, best burgers in town. I must say, the burgers have changed over the past year or so and I can't say that I find the change for the better. Still, as previously stated, the atmosphere and burgers are excellent. I recommend the Bubba Melt or buffalo burger.

My only two complaints: no fries and soda is only sold in cans.

MY REVIEW: A trip to Houston is not complete without making it to Bubba's. Once you find it you will never forget it and I never miss it when I am in town. I am going there now! I wish it was Sunday so I could enjoy the "Champagne Brunch" along with the friendly ambiance. If you like real places and great food then this is a juicy dining adventure for you.

MY REVIEW: I went after reading the reviews. It was a bit hard to find, and we had to make a U-turn after we ended up in the ghetto. The ambiance is just how others describe it. It's a pretty cool place. We sat outside. My mom and I both ordered buffalo burgers. She got a potato salad and I got chips (they don't serve fries except on holidays). I'm a picky eater, but I'm not judgemental (I wasn't expecting gourmet in other words). My mom did not like the burger and blamed the thin, previously frozen patty. Her vote for best buffalo burger goes to The H*obbit. I liked it just fine. I'd go again for the ambiance.

MY REVIEW: I had a great Buffalo Burger ever! That inviting home-kitchen scent makes you mouth watering. It survived from building Westpark Toll Way, but you know why? Try yourself, and you won’t forget it. Very country-friendly-cozy inside the room and at the patio, It even builds up a romantic than the fancy ones. I want to eat their Buffalo Steak Sandwich next time. Happy Hour is M-F 2pm- 7pm.

MY REVIEW: This is a unique place. A truly interesting atmosphere as it feels like you are on some old farm to market road out in the middle of no where. In reality you are surrounded by HWY 59 and actually park in the shade beneath Westpark Toll Road with the skyline of the Galleria in the background.

The food is good and the staff is very friendly. You have to go once just so you can say you have been there.

MY REVIEW: I've been visiting Bubba's 1-2 times a month for the last 8 years or so and I don't think I've ever had a bad meal. The portions are just right and the buffalo meat is delicious, as is the jalapeno potato salad. I recommend this place to anyone who likes a good burger.

MY REVIEW: Excellent burgers. Buffalo burger is not only the best in Houston but the best I've had in Texas. Staff is excentric but work hard to please. A must try

MY REVIEW: I'm a "down home boy" from San Antonio and I really felt at home at Bubba's. Thanks for introducing me to Buffalo burgers which I find a great deal more flavorful than beef. Fortunately, they are healthier. I find the cook(s) very forthcoming if they have time to talk between customers and know a lot of interesting stuff. If you're going to live in Houston, you must try "Bubba's" at least once in your lifetime. Check out the weekend "Champagne Breakfast". Native Texans and all transplants will appreciate it. A soda on the front patio on a soft summer night reminds me of the good old days in San Antonio during the 1950's before everything got fancy, sterile and franchised. This is a place we take all our out of town visitors.

MY REVIEW: Very welcoming atmosphere, excellent buffalo burgers. Location was a bti hard to find with all of the construction, but it was well worth the trouble.

MY REVIEW: As the Houston Press put it, "Bubba's is an oasis of eccentricity." Here you will find exotic sodas (Jone's, Stewart's, and Hank's), chips, and even buffalo meat. Of course, for those feeling less adventurous, Bubba's carries the standard beef burgers and regular soft drinks. With their special blend of spices (which are available for purchase) and love, they hands down create the best burger in Houston. The atmosphere of this "Shack" is very inviting, and the staff is nothing but helpful and pleasant. They even sell the buffalo meat for nearly cost (patties, roasts, and steaks), and will tell you just how to cook it at home to have it turn out perfect. A+!!
