MY REVIEW: This was my second visit because I really liked the place. I live very close and have always driven by so I decided to give it a shot. I tried the 3 meat combo but my favorite where the beef ribs which I came back to eat. The homemade bread it to die for it is addictive now I stop in and buy to go. And the best off all is the pecan pie...
great place.. nice inside, fast service.. will keep coming back

MY REVIEW: Very prompt and friendly service. Ice tea is great. I like the lunch specials, they are huge though, so you need a doggy bag. Sausage is best I've ever had at any BBQ joint. Keep up the good work.

MY REVIEW: I've been going here for years and they still make the best beef ribs anywhere - no contest. The BBQ in general is really good here (brisket always seems a bit dry), the service friendly and the environment is nice, but the sides are not very flavorful. Salads are obvioulsy prepared way in advance, so you get a plate straight out of the frigde and still with the saran wrap impression on top. The pecan vinagrette is excellent. Potato salad, beans and cole slaw all have mild (if any) flavor. I have also had much better pecan pie in many other places. So go here for the great BBQ and the cool ambiance, but not for much else.

MY REVIEW: Went there for my birthday and got spare ribs when I'd ordered baby backs. They were average. The coleslaw was good, and I'm not a coleslaw eater. The dessert was the best item all night. Fast and attentive service, though, and nice looking place inside and out. A little too quiet and reserved to be a good down-home Texas BBQ joint.
We went a week later to try the lunch and that was much better. The sandwich arrived as described and was pretty tasty. I'd have to say, however, I could find better BBQ elsewhere if I were willing to travel a little further.

MY REVIEW: I always look forward to eating at County Line -- the smoked chicken is to die for -- I make my own sandwich using their homemade bread - the chicken melts in your mouth -- I love the coleslaw and beans, cold drafts are always good - Great place to have lunch- never had a bad server yet.

MY REVIEW: They finally expanded their menu to include sandwiches and additional platters! FINALLY!!!! My one complaint with this restaurant was that you could never get a sandwich at dinner - sandwiches were only available at lunch.
I highly recommend this restaurant, especially now that you have more to choose from.

MY REVIEW: When I move to Texas from Tennessee I thought it was pretty bizzare that Texans will make a meal of barbecued sausage. That was before I tried the County Line sausage. It's their own recipe and it is the best I've ever had. The peppered turkey is good, the beef ribs are good, but you have to try the sausage.

MY REVIEW: There are better places to eat BBQ than here. Everything was average.

MY REVIEW: The ambiance is great and the beer selection surprisingly good (I like Spaten beers). The food is so-so. My wife got the combo platter which was good, I got the special of prime rib and grilled shrimp. The prime rib was served on sauteed peppers and onions (HUNH?) so that was a turn off. Otherwise it was a decent value.
The things I don't like about County Line are the surprises on the check. It was nice they've "truthed-up" their suggestive selling by offering bread from the appetizer menu instead of asking if you'd like bread but beware of what you ask for.....it may show as a line item on the check.
Bottom line, we'll be back next year when the new Entertainment book comes out.

MY REVIEW: The atmosphere was great. The food was wonderful and plentiful. We enjoyed everything except a rather inattentive waiter.

MY REVIEW: beautiful exterior and setting, unfortunately, the meal did not live up to expectations, the wait was long, the food was so-so, and the portions were not generous. oh, and overpriced too! saw a rave review in the chronicle's food section, they must have known they were coming.

MY REVIEW: I think this place is great. It is a little expensive-- but eating out usually is. You can't leave here hungry. The sausage is the best meat-- but I usually get the chicken combo which comes with 5 or so sausage slices and half a chicken.
The bread is the best. I buy a whole loaf and take home the extra for toast the next couple of days.
If you go when it's busy, it also takes alot longer to get served. Go "off times" for the best experience. Always get the BBQ sauce!

MY REVIEW: We ate at 4 PM, and there was plenty of space. The food arrived about 5 minutes after we ordered it! It was good food, but not great. I had the 3 meat plate with sausage, brisket and a huge rib. The plates themselves were cool too, and fit the design of the restaraunt. The decor was spot on, late 50's and 60's cowboy era.
The price was expensive. For my wife and I, 2 entrees and 2 iced teas was $27.50 before tax. I think this is expensive, since you could get this much food elsewhere for much cheaper, and the BBQ wasn't that great.
In short, good food, good decorations/atmosphere, but expensive prices. If someone else is picking up the tab, have at it, otherwise keep searching for that perfect BBQ place.

MY REVIEW: As good as it gets. Don't bother using a knife - you won't need it. ENJOY!!!!! I took a friend from Arizona there and now it's all he talks about. Too bad he had to go back to AZ.
