MY REVIEW: been going to the restaurant over 26 yrs. the food is great and the peolpe are great. my family and i enjoy eating out at this location. the bakery has great cakes and cookies. you can't go wrong eating the TAQUERIA DEL SOL.

MY REVIEW: Breakfast is to die for, the Machacada's is my fave. We work in the area and sneak over for breakfast as often as we can. Never go two weeks without a fix.

MY REVIEW: We took out of town guest (one from Utah) and everyone loved it. They "thought" C*asa Ole was good; now they KNOW what real Mexican food should taste like. I have taken clients and family friends and am always proud. The Chili con Queso is the best in Texas!

MY REVIEW: I've been to Del Sol many times and I love the food. They serve pickled carrots and jalapenos before the entres which I like alot. Everything I've had is excellent. Particularly the Caldo de Res. The bakery next door is awesome too. My only complaint about the place is that the parking lot is hazardous, and the restaurant is always so packed it is usually complete chaos ! But...the service is excellent.

MY REVIEW: all these good reviews can't be wrong. this is THE MEXCIAN place to eat. There is no other place like the Taqueria Del Sol. Food is great and at a low price. the chips and salsa are to die for. And the lemonade is out of this world. even if you just kind of like mexican food i say you should just give it a try. i recommend the cheese enchiladas or the gordita. Both are awesome and filling. although yes i wish they would expand but i kind of like the homey atmosphere. if you live in houston, you have to eat here at least once.

MY REVIEW: I love it. I've been goint there since I can remeber. My mom and I used to walk there and eat just to chat. It's great, cheap and services is great. Everyone always has a smile on there face. I highly recommend it to everyone.

MY REVIEW: HOOKED.Everything i have tried there has been GREAT!!I also loved the chips and hot sauce:)The enchiladas were good, as was the carne asada(beef fajita)burrito.The guacamole is really good also.I want to try the tortas and gorditas as well.Don't forget the mexican bakery next door:)I highly recommend taqueria del sol to anyone:)My car steers itself to taqueria del sol-thats my story and i'm sticking to it..:) God Bless,stephen P.s.- taqueria del sol is safe after dark because they have a couple of hpd officers on premise:)

MY REVIEW: To me there is no other place...when we want Mexican food all we say is Taqueria...because this is the only place we come, and it never fails, great food, cheap prices and good service. Need I say more...sure why not, my best picks for food are the Burritos and chicken quesadillas. Oh and I just loooooooooooove the Orchata and Lemonade...ah...just AWESOME!!!

Very family oriented and may I say this place is always packed...which I see as a very good thing. And DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE PANDERIA!!! Believe me when I say that you have to try some Pan dulce before you leave or take some to go, yummmmmmy!

MY REVIEW: My husband and I try to visit this place at least once a week! We live in La Porte, but come up with any excuse to go to Del Sol by the weekend for sure. Our kids didn't like it at first, but quickly figured out they had no choice and now suggest it themselves as our favorite place to go out to eat. And now, all of my in-law's are hooked. They travel from Beaumont and Vidor to eat there. In fact, we've planned a birthday party dinner there this weekend! Can't wait!

MY REVIEW: We have been eating at Del Sol since it first opened and have to say this is the best ever - to begin with, the service is great (friendly and warm) then the salsa is to die for (always hot - could drink it as a meal) the food is authentic mexican and the price is right. What else can we ask for? Keep up the good work and thank you for making it "family friendly". May I add that my favorite meal is their CALDO....

MY REVIEW: I really wish they can expand the place, but then that will mean that they might have to close the place. I can't live with that, I need my morning tacos stuffed with a lot of salsa to wake me up, and my beff buritos, and that grilled onion drowning on a garlic and lemon bath, fantastic
