MY REVIEW: Great appetizers! The crab cake was awesome.
The view is spectacular. I love seeing the Houston skyline and the airplanes taking off on new adventures.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I absolutely LOVE CK's/Houston. We've been going on our anniversary since 1993 (Nov. 20) except for the times it's been closed for Thanksgiving and once when the revolving mechanism was in repair.
It is the most romantic restaurant in all of Houston and the food is to die for. (I guess I like it more because of the ambiance and my husband more for the food but it really has it all).
The only thing I miss is the classical music they used to play but they still have a soft music which is nice. Very classy place - beautiful revolving views of the airport - great service. Our favorite place.

MY REVIEW: This restaurant has it all...fantastic views at night of the planes arriving and departing IAH and the service was the best. My daughter & I brought our friends, an elderly couple, to this restaurant for her birthday. She is visiting from Boliva and does not speak English and the waiter brought her a huge piece of cake with a candle and sang Happy Birthday in Spanish! The food was great especially the New York strip steak and the lobster bisque...the bisque was heaven! Great place for a relaxing dinner or a special occasion.

MY REVIEW: As a huge aviation fan, this place is pure paradise. And as somewhat of an expert on good ahi tuna, let me just say that the grill rub they used was a pleasant surprise. The filet mignon is especially delicious, and the a la carte configuration makes it fun. Twice i have been there on special occasions (birthday and anniversary), and both times i was presented with a card from the hotel gift shop with well wishes from our waitor and the hostess. Amazing!

MY REVIEW: We went to ck because we were bumped from a flight and had to take a later one. We were sooo impressed with the wonderful food we had the salmon with shrimp with lemon sauce (it was fantastic the shrimps were huge to die for). We loved it soo much that on our way back from our vacation we stopped in again. We would love the recipe to the lemon sauce. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to stopping in on my next flight.

MY REVIEW: The CK Rotating Restaurant was the only bad part of my stay at the Marriott. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was good from our waitress. The food however, was not good at all. My wife had a Ribeye - $35 (all menu items are served a la' carte), I had the stufffed Lobster - $27 and we shared a side of scallopped potatoes - $6. And we also had a Cabernet Sauvignon with our dinnner - $32. The wine was the best part of the meal. The steak while it was cooked to my wife's liking, was not a very good cut of meat. Ribeye's are supposed to be marbled with some fat but this was overwhelmingly fatty. My Lobster was the absolute worst Lobster I have ever had. It was like chewing on a rubber ball! I told the waitress and she relayed the info to the manager. All he would do is give us a free dessert! I didn't want to make a scene during our romantic evening with my wife so I just took the dessert. So in summary ~ the atmosphere is pretty nice (runway lights, rotating restaurant, good wine, etc.) but the food was definitely not worth dropping $115 (after tip), especially when managmenet wants to give a free dessert for a $27 meal that was horrible. I'll be going to C*apital Grille for that amount of money and I know the food and service will be outstanding, it always is.

MY REVIEW: Well, I would like to retract my last review! We were EXTREMELY disappointed with this meal. We went back to CK's for our 10TH ANNIVERSARY.. only to have them ruin it. The food quality wasn't half as good as your local Red L*obster, and the service was just plain horrible. Our meal (for two) cost $200, and should have cost $45. We had long been planning this evening. It was supposed to be very memorable for us, and they absolutely ruined it for us. We will not return. DO NOT DINE HERE.

MY REVIEW: We went there because we had a coupon from the Entertainment Book, and wanted to try something different than our same 5 favorite restaurants.. and WOW! WHAT A WONDERFUL SURPRISE! Their food was incredible, the service was amazing (You'd think you were on vacation in another country!), and the view was romantic, without attracting so much attention that you'd wish it wasn't there... We LOVED it!.. and are anxious to go back again! :)
