MY REVIEW: My dad started taking me to Barry's when I was 12. I'm now 25, and drive myself up there for their amazing pizza. I am a pizza fanatic, and I'm convinced that anyone who has anything negative to say about the pizza at this place is either going in on a really bad day, or has no taste. I have eaten at just about every pizza place in town, and I rate this place #1, despite the slightly high prices.
I don't go too often anymore due to living so far away. However, I'm moving to Korea next week, and I will be sure that the last American pizza I eat before I leave comes from Barry's Pizza.

MY REVIEW: I went based on the good reviews here and on another site. Ordered a thin crust pepperoni, which was good except for the sauce. I thought was too sweet and the Italian seasonings overpowered any hint of tomato flavor. Maybe it was an off night for the sauce. Service and atmosphere was great. In my opinion M*ario's(Seabrook), R*omano's and N*ew York Pizzeria all make a better pizza. Haven't got to some of the other well known pizza places in town yet. I would return here and try something else.

MY REVIEW: I agree it's a bit expensive but WELL worth it. Great deep dish pizzas. I got 2 on a take out. The manager offered me a drink for the road. I added on some bread sticks as well. I will continue to go back.

MY REVIEW: although a bit pricey for pizza, the food is very good. Only eat in to enjoy..the food does not travel well, and definately doesn't re-heat well. TO get the full bang for your buck, eat in & dine with good friends. Good service/ servers also (friendly)

MY REVIEW: Consistently good pizza, both the thin crust and the thick crust, plus they also offer whole wheat. The antipasto salad rocks my world with all the cheeses and meats and olives, with a tangy Italian dressing. We always ask for anchovies - Barry's has THE BEST anchovies in town, and they are very generous with them. Both the spinach salad and the caesar are good, also. Our favorite pizza is the Barry's veggie (olives, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, peppers) with an added topping (either pepperoni or sausage). Crust is crispy on the bottom and chewy inside, toppings are generous. Their garlic breadsticks are wonderful as well. Service is always friendly and efficient. Great place!

MY REVIEW: Barry's Pizza is a family favorite. Friendly, casual atmosphere with great service. My favorite is the Margarita pizza. It's so much better than the everyday pizza you get at the large chains.

MY REVIEW: Just enjoyed my usual wheat crust, deep dish - fantastic as usual! I am a pizza lover, and travel quite a bit, and I consider Barry's to be the FINEST PIZZA IN TOWN AND ONE OF THE TOP TWO I'VE EATEN ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY. Now I'm a creature of habit, so I always get the wheat crust, deep dish, but friends and family that have eaten Barry's other styles and dishes rave as well!! A very nice atmosphere, with excellent service and TVs that are not overpowering, this is a favorite of ours for both dining in and carrying out.

MY REVIEW: I hadn't been to Barry's for years, but driving past recently, I recalled very good cornmeal studded crusts and we went in, with three children. The side Caesar salad was ok, but the pizza was a big disappointment. Even the children preferred other vendors for cheese and pepperoni. The margarita pizza tasted of the tomatoes but there was nary a hint of basil. I'll stick to St*r, La Gr*glia, and Br*sserie Annisette (? on Westheimer) for fine margarita pizzas.

MY REVIEW: I've been to the location on Richmond twice, and the Stafford location has delivered to my office on a few occasions. I'm not happy with the Sicilian style; the crust is just too heavy. The toppings are good and plentiful, but the whole thing just sits in your stomach like a brick. I'll give the thin crust a try next time. One thing I'll definitely say is a plus for Barry's is the service. The last time we were in was a busy Friday. Friends were in town and we were a large party (13, I think). Not a problem. We waited a few minutes, but they put together a table for us, and the service was excellent.

MY REVIEW: The food was good. It didn't take long for them to make it. It was definitely way more expensive than I was expecting though. The deep dish pizza for 6 slices generally started around $13-15. The 10 slice deep dish was around $20. The pizza tasted great still.

MY REVIEW: I wanted to surprise a friend with a birthday pizza and I'm from out of state. WAY out of state. I searched for a pizza place that would do what I needed with not a great deal of success until I called Barry's. I couldn't believe the kindness and patience from the girl that dealt with me. She went out of her way to see to it that it was delivered to my friend and that it was all taken care of. As for the quality of the pizza I have no idea. But if the service matches the quality then it's got to be awesome.

MY REVIEW: Anyone who doesn't love the deep dish Barry's special is lacking taste buds.
I've had it at all of the Barry's locations but today's was simply superb and beyond Barry's usual high standards. From the crust to the sauce to the toppings, it could not have been any tastier. Highly recommend Barry's!

MY REVIEW: We ordered fried ravioli for appetizer which were stuffed with cheese. Those were unexpected and awfully filling. The pizza we ordered was 1/2 spinach & garlic and the other 1/2 was beef fajita. My husband, who LOVES Tex-Mex was very disappointed with his half and proceeded to eat mine, which I thought was very tasty. The pizza was very gooey and cheezy and was standard. Nothing special here except that the crust was fresh. The service was far from good. The manager just stood around and watched as our waitress kept getting more tables. Poor girl, she just juggled as best as she could but no one helped her out one bit. The staff was juvenile and the manager was doing a great job of observing. I will never visit this place again.

MY REVIEW: I tend to hit this place up when I come into town to vist my parents. The regular crust pizza is good and the anti-pasta salad is huge (with lots of meat and cheese). Worth checking out if you like pizza!

MY REVIEW: Just back from a great lunch at the new Barry's in The Woodlands. We each had the lunch special of a personal (4 slice) pizza and salad for $6.99, and I think that's a really good deal. The salad was fairly large; basic lettuce and tomato, but it was fresh. They will ask you if you want your dressing on the side, and you should say "yes" because otherwise it will be ladled on with a heavy hand.
In all cases the pizza was terrific! The lunch special gives you a choice of two toppings. I chose sausage and green pepper, and the pizza had plenty of both, as well as lots of cheese and just the right amount of tomato sauce. The crust was thin and crispy (as I like it) and the pizza was hot and delicious. Everyone at our table sampled different toppings, and all were fresh and generously served.
Be aware that this is not a pizza buffet place -- you are seated by a host and order from your table. The menu also includes pastas and sandwiches, but pizza is the way to go here. I had spaghetti at the Richmond location several years ago and found it OK, nothing special. But the tasty pizza will keep me coming back here for lunch.

MY REVIEW: We eat here all the time! The staff is always friendly and the food is great! Usualy when you eat Pizza there's more than one person so you split the cost.If you are alone they have a personal sized pizza on their lunch special. We have been to a Birthday party and a soccer team party at Barrys, both times everyone left happy! Highly recommend for family outings!

MY REVIEW: I've been looking for a decent delivery pizza in my area and Barry's fits the bill quite nicely. I found the deep dish pizza to be flavorful and hot with good quality toppings. It cost a bit more than, say, D*omino's, but was far superior in quality. Delivery was prompt, phone service was courteous and fluent in English. I will definitely order delivery from there again.

MY REVIEW: I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews. My husband and I live far away from Barry's but we'll drive out on a regular basis for a deep dish with sausage, mushrooms and green onions. EVERYTHING about the pizza is delicous to us. Someone complained that an 8X10 is too small: The pieces are extremely thick. It is filling, well seasoned. We always feel like the cost dinner is pretty cheap when we go there. Perhaps because we share a pizza? I think the complaints are a question of preference, not quality.
IT IS GOOD PIZZA
