MY REVIEW: Everything my family has eaten here since we moved to Houston several months ago is pleasing and satisfying. Achille Express has quickly become our Italian restaurant of choice. It's small and friendly, the perfect neighborhood Italian family cafe. We haven't had a disappointing meal yet and we've all ordered different menu items and daily specials for both lunch and dinner. The food comes out in a timely manner and is delicious. My only complaint is that tonight I wanted to sit outside and all the tables were taken. Next time we'll go earlier.

MY REVIEW: Really good thin crust pizza. Have yet to try the deep dish. This place is a little pricey (for pizza), but well worth it. The toppings are really fresh and the crust is done just right. I've only been there 3 times but so far I have been very satisfied.

MY REVIEW: I first visited Achille's in the midst of a bout of homesickness for real NY pizza. (The nearby "N*Y*" pizza place had literally served me food I could not eat.)

Achille got his training in Queens and has a nice pizza and calzone setup -- excellent dough and good toppings. The eggplant parmesan really hit the spot, it was breaded and baked off perfectly. The two chicken dishes that the three of us had last time were a real disappointment, however -- after pounding the chicken to an acceptable thinness the kitchen then overcooked it till it was too dry to eat in both the piccatta and the chicken alfredo.

Stick to the pizzas and pasta dishes, the cooks's hand is too heavy on the chicken.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I LOVE Achille's!! Achille remembers me from visiting his old Memorial location, it is so nice to see him at the counter every time we go in. The food is awesome, can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We have loved everything he has ever prepared for us. I can't encourage you enough to go give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!

MY REVIEW: The pizza is tasty and fresh, better than D*ominoes, B*arry's etc. The salad and garlic bread are simple but very good. I really wish more people knew about this place!

MY REVIEW: There were four people in our party and each had a different menu item. The plain cheese pizza was pretty good for the $1.95 price per slice. The fairly generous spaghetti serving could not make up for the bland meat sauce. The garlic bread was ordinary and the salad hardly more than iceberg lettuce, a tiny slice of tomato and commercial italian dressing. The chicken parmesan, at $9.50 was good but expensive and the lasagna at $7.50 was "OK". Service was friendly and acceptably fast with a counter order and table delivery arrangement. Area road construction makes getting to the restaurant an issue, though parking was easy. The dining room was uncomfortably cool due to over air conditioning, though warmer outdoor seating was available. The daily specials include a dozen or so items, mostly over $6, including the ordinary salad and garlic bread. We only went one time and we may return again in the future to see if it was just a bad day.

MY REVIEW: This place is awesome!!! For lunch, they have a great two-slice special with drink included for about 5 bucks. You can't go wrong. If two slices isn't enough for you, the Calzone or Stromboli will defenitely take care of you. And for the REALLY hungry, they have great daily specials that come with salad & bread. Their homemade pizza sauce is fantastic - not to acidic like the fake stuff & definitely not full of "cover up" spices. Hands down the best deep dish pizza in town. The staff is always friendly and will wait on you hand and foot.

MY REVIEW: This place is excellent! Some of the best pizza in town and definitely the best anywhere in this area. If they could advertise more they would shut down B*arry's pizza for sure. (And no, I don't work for Achille's.) The mozzarella is very tasty, too. The pizza isn't cheap like dominoes, but worth the price.

MY REVIEW: Can't wait for the new one to open. We miss the Memorial location. Our favorite waiter will hopefully travel with them. The best lasagna in town.
