MY REVIEW: My fiance and I just wanted a quick lunch so we tried Bibas again. Fortunately, the weather was beautiful and we sat on the outdoor patio to see the Houston marathon. We both just ordered the regular gyro and fries. Good choice! It didn't take that long and we had a great view. It's not the best gyro and fries, but if you're hungry and don't feel like driving far, it's not bad. The family next to us seemed to have a pretty good breakfast. Service was the usual, sorta cranky waitresses. The place is otherwise a dump. Everything is old, the paint is peeling, the outdoor fans are rusted. Would I come back? Sure, if I was starving!!!

MY REVIEW: Over many years(at least 20) every so often I will not want to drive far and end up here.Tonight the food was so bad,I can not believe its the same owners.I had chicken parmesean. The chicken was precooked, dry, served in a few strips with a glob of cheap cheese on top.I had opted for fries. These were worse than you can buy from the dollar store.

My husband had the Gyro which was chunks of pre cooked pieces( not from a rotesserie) dry and tasteless. The Tzakaki sauce seemed spoiled and more like weird Tarter sauce

A truely really really bad meal.

MY REVIEW: I have been to this restaurant numerous times and love the food. The service is usually poor (slow and neglectful), and they apparently have some issues with staying OPEN during advertised hours. My last attempt was a visit at 9:20pm (they posted 10pm as closing time), but were greeted by a frowning waitress who informed us they were closing at 10 and we could not be seated. She even took the trouble to confirm this with the gentleman behind the register.

My next attempt was a midnight visit on Friday (actually 12:15am Saturday morning), as their menus advertise 24 hours on Friday and Saturday. This is printed in HUGE LETTERING on the cover of their menus. However they were closed. Apparently they have changed their hours as a follow-up phone call informed me.

I would suggest changing your menus and advertising before you change your hours. I think I have given up on this restaurant...I enjoy the foold but the poor service and hassles just aren't worth the trouble.

MY REVIEW: "Oh sh**." That was how our party of 3 was greeted when we walked into the restaurant on Friday night. This place is known to be 24 hours, and it was only 10:45, so no big deal, right? WRONG! I don't know what the rules are about closing early, but the waiter clearly did not want us here. We sat on the patio, and placed our orders, which were just salads and a shared appetizer. He locked the gate to the patio, much to the dismay of at least 3 diiferent parties who arrived in the 20 minutes which we spent there. We've lived in the neighborhood for almost a decade, and visited this establishment at times anywhere from 11am til 3am, so we were really taken aback by the way we were treated. If you call yourself a 24 hour restaurant, and don't want to hold up your end of the bargain, at least explain yourself to the patrons... NEVER look the people that pay the bills in the face and say, "OH SH**." We'll never be back.

MY REVIEW: Great food, love the gyros. Service is HORRIBLE!! Waitstaff ignored our table took about 15 minutes to take our order. Waitress never bothered coming to our table to ask if we needed anything after we received our meals, after waiting about 20 minutes for the check, we had to wait again to pay at the register. We were only 2 customers out of 6 total occupying the place not including the two waitresses. I hope management gets a waitstaff to compliment the good quality of the food.

MY REVIEW: Excelent Pizza! the best in town. Ugly place and the worst decoration I've seen, but I guess some people just don't care about certain details. The service is fast and food also hot. Certain dishes are a little greasy, but if you let them know they will satisfy your needs. Bibas is good but needs to improve the place, I think that they don't know if they want to be a dinner or a pizza place yet.

MY REVIEW: Excellent food, fast friendly service, reasonable prices. I will continue to visit on a regular basis. I usually walk in and sit, today I called in my order and it was ready and hot exactly when they said it would be.

MY REVIEW: I made a saturday afternoon visit with a date. Dining room was nearly empty. We ordered a dinner sampler, gyro, and split a small aphrodite pizza. The dinner sampler was a real highlight; really large portions steaming on a platter looking like an old greek grandma spent all afternoon crafting it. The small aphrodite was flavourful and not drowning in sauce. The prices are noticeably higher than another well known greek institution on Montrose, yet the portions here are also larger. Service was prompt by the friendly manager.

Pros: Prompt service, food arrives hot to the table in huge portions.

Cons: Uniformly pricier than other similar greek diners I have been to, and not all the dishes I saw seemed to be the value for money that I had.

Verdict: Very little to go wrong with. I'm confident most will be happily satisfied here when looking for a casual bite to eat. Pizza here is a tasty endeavour.

MY REVIEW: I made my first visit and sampled the Aphrodite, along with the Garden pizza. Pizza was made to order in about 15 minutes; why can't others be so prompt? Unless told, I wouldn't know the difference between greek pizza and say, thin crust east-coast style. All versions come in a soft thin crust, with the familiar tomato paste not drowning the crust as say, other establishments. Ingredients were good quality, not skimped on, and overall the product had a "homemade" taste to it. Quite good; next time I'll sample the other menu items. This is the first place in a while that fairly challenges Ant*nio's Fl*ing P*zza for perhaps Houston's best.

MY REVIEW: My personal favorite greek restaurant in houston. Plus its always good to go to late at night. I love the Gyros, lots of sauce on them. The people are really friendly there, we even played drums on the table together. The only complaint I have is why is it not closer to where I live. Definatly give it a shot.

MY REVIEW: Good restaurant, but I must say, don't go there on a first date because you will likely have to sit in a huge booth with a huge table. Not very personal, except of course if you sit on the same side. I loved the food, but I like the atmosphere at N*ko's better.

MY REVIEW: Now this is a great pizza. I love the garden pizza except for the fact it's so filling it's hard to enjoy their fresh salads at the same meal. Take someone else and share both!

MY REVIEW: I think that the service was excellent. The waiters, the cashier, the boss are very kind and care a lot for the customers. The pizza is typical greek traditional pizza (I know because I am Greek) and I think that anyone should try it. I reccomend it to anyone who wants to try something different from the usual kind of pizza. Congratulations again for your great job.

MY REVIEW: Try the Aphrodite pizza. Very good. Also loved their Gyro Calzone. Greek salad is huge and tastes ok. they recently enclosed most of the outdoor seating so it's not as loud as it used to be. We go here often. 7 out of 10.

MY REVIEW: Great pizzas, Greek salads and Gyros. I like to sit on the patio by the vines that block most of the view of traffic. It's cool, usually breezy, and you can look at the posters of Greece and believe you're there for a few!

The large Garden pizza was enough for 3 and was piled high with fresh veggies.
