MY REVIEW: The beef burgers have been ok in the past, but paying supposedly for a gourmet burger $8+ and not getting it, not ok.

I went through drive through, thought I tried something different, ask the guy on the intercom, did they offer any type of burger besides beef, he said yes, they have great veggie burger that full of veggies. So took his advice, probably should have been wary of the quick response because the veggie burger that I saw only contained beans, mashed and whole southwest black beans made into a patty. The bun was wheat with shredded lettuce, 1 tomato, mayo & mustard. Now I know why they don't list the veggie burger on the menu. Patty similar to a hockey puck in size and color.

The side of sweet potato fries was cold and limp with large visible chunks of sea salt, tasted like they had been sitting out for a while and I had just ordered them.

The side of salad looked like a cheaper version of M*cDonald's side salad with 1 mushroom. M*cDonald's looked more gourmet and way cheaper. Becks consisted of 1 mushroom, shredded romaine lettuce, shredded yellow cheese, and a cherry tomato cut in half. The salad didn't even fill up the small container, it looked like they only put a handful in and called it a day. The dressing was even worst, I asked for lite and they said that they had a really good vinagerette, guess what, the dressing looked like olive oil and tasted like pure olive oil, no season, the whole thing had one translucent color. Salad was better without dressing which is sad to say.

Also the wait time was 20 minutes through drive through with no one in front of me.

Burger = $8+
Sweet potato fries = $3+
Side Salad = $3+
Total + tax = $17
Time = Wasted
Price = Lesson learned - will not be returning)

MY REVIEW: Decent food but consistent terrible service. The girls taking your orders need to stay focused on customers. My wife and I had to repeat the order 4 times to get it right; when we sat at the table and checked it they were still overcharging me and needed to go back. The girl taking my initial order step down to take care of other business and let someone else continue which added to the confusion.

This restaurant needs to hire more efficient, professional and courteous people to take of their clients.

For me Beck's Prime is history. If the family still wants to go, I will take them to to the Westheimer location next time.

MY REVIEW: food is really good, pricey but nice for an occasional treat. staff is awesome on whole. it is a very 'by the game plan' set up. i wanted a plastic cup of catsup, as they give to-go customers, to eat outside. they wanted me to use the bottle. i had to repeat my request before they relinquished. **careful, comments section of web site is not what you think**the owner/manager calls within the hour of your posting a comment--but not to listen, really, they want to hear your story and then poke holes in it and be righteously defensive. not really a listener, based on my experience.

MY REVIEW: I am a big fan of the H*ub Cap Grill but I had lunch yesterday at the BP location on Kirby and was reminded of the quality of their food. The burger really has a "just grilled in the backyard" small and taste. Excellent burger and their fries are also excellent. I need to go back soon to resample some of their other menu items that I recall as being excellent. The hot dogs caught my eye yesterday....!

MY REVIEW: For some reason, the tunnel location has the one of the best burgers ever, and the other locations (Woodlands, Kirby, Westheimer/Augusta) don't seem to match it. The tunnel location's burger is juicier, with softer bread, and tastes more like beef than the burger offered at the other locations (to me). The fries are good. More potatoey with the skins on some of them. Similar to Little B*igs' fries but less seasoned. The parmesan crisps are also a nice side item.

Go to the tunnel downtown for a truly awesome burger.

MY REVIEW: YUM, YUM and YUMMMM! Love to be able to get restaurant quality food by just using their drive-thru. First time using a drive-thru, it was a bit slow. Following time, I obtained a to-go menu and called in advance. Worked like a charm for somewone that is in a wheelchair and can't always go into a restaurant for pick up to go food.

MY REVIEW: I have only had the burgers,fries,milkshake and the chicken sandwhich all of which are super, especially the burger and milkshake.Each location has really nice outdoor seating especially their Hwy 6 Sugar Land location. You sit on a patio overlooking a laeke and it is so pleasant when the sunis setting, almost like being in another country. The burger is so fresh and awesome that I have a hard time moving on to other menu items.Best burger in Houston...bar none.

MY REVIEW: I have been to Becks Prime numerous times but have only ordered the Bill's Burger (because I adore it). Tonight I tried Julie's Ahi Tuna & Veggies...and ate every single bite. Eating the Ahi Tuna as rare as it was happened to be the first time I've ever tried something so pink inside, and it was fabulous. I recommend this dish and topping it off with a nice Hershey's Chocolate Malt.

MY REVIEW: Why go anywhere else for burgers?

Becks Prime has the best burgers I have ever eaten. Yes, when compared to other burger joints it is a little pricey, but then again this is not just another burger joint. These are gourmet burgers! I have eaten the Bill's Burger at least half a dozen times and it still holds true to being the best burger in town in my opinion. Becks Prime offers a nice, small diner-like atmosphere with a menu that is eclectic and fuses fast food with high-end cuisine dishes. I highly recommend eating at Becks Prime.

MY REVIEW: Becks Prime makes a good burger. Is it worth $28 for two burger baskets? No.

Fresh cut fries tend to be limp and greasy, these were not so put that in the plus column.

I'd rate it about the same as most fast/casual burger chains but not as good as the J's Special at the H*ill in Waller, R*ockwell Tavern or K*ilburns.

MY REVIEW: Ordered a bacon cheeseburger by itself to go. Was this a good burger? Absolutely. Was it worth $9.00 by itself including tax? I am not too sure about that. Pretty pricey for a solo burger.

MY REVIEW: Strong point = the burgers are pretty darned good. Weak point = it appears they cannot get special orders correct even when the information on the receipt they provide to the customer is correct. Change the items on a standard cheeseburger and ask for something "on the side". They put it on the burger anyway AND give a 'side' of the same. Ask to take something off of the burger completely & they put it on the burger anyway. For the price paid for the burger, it should not only taste good, but it should be built to order and it should be built right. I know they will be working on this problem.

MY REVIEW: My family and I went to Beck's at this location this weekened and we ordered some kids' meals and wanted milk to go with the meals for our kids. The guy behind the counter told us that they were out of milk, but the manager immediately told us that he would make a trip to the store to get the milk for us. I just wanted to thank him for his extra effort and the great service that he showed to his customers.

MY REVIEW: IMO these are the best burgers in The Woodlands. Yes, they're pricey, but you're going to pay the same price at a casual dining place (C*hili*s, F*riday*s, etc.) and this food is a million times better. The meat has that mesquite smoked flavor w/o me having to make the patties and fire up the smoker. I'm actually not so hot on the fries but a burger is enough for me anyway. There's rarely a crowd at dinner so it's nice to eat out on the patio w/o a million screaming kids disturbing the conversation too.
