MY REVIEW: My brother, sister, mother(elderly and in a wheelchair) and I went for an early dinner at 4:30 pm. The service was slow. My sister ordered fish and chips. The fish was like a dry stringy piece of chicken. Horrible, so we sent it back. THe manager then tried to tell us that the specific fish is just that way. My brother ordered the pork chops. and they were horrible too. fatty and grissly. asked for more biscuits and never recieved them. THis was my last trip to red lobster.

MY REVIEW: I seldom choose to eat at Red Lobster and other than the cheddar bay biscuits I remember why. Two of us ate dinner last night after seeing a promo for all you can eat shrimp. We were put on a wait list at 9:00 pm for about 20 minutes only to walk into a dark, half empty dinning room. We started out by not having any silverware until after our salads were brought to the table in HOT salad bowls; straight out of the dishwasher no doubt. Long storey short, you get what you pay for. The service and quality of the food was no better than that of Long J*hn Silvers. If I ever go back, it will be for an order of cheddar biscuits to go. I’m done with RL.

MY REVIEW: Hadn't been to a Red Lobster in years but sister wanted to go there for the advertised 4-course meal for $15.00 for her birthday. Party of 12 in a near empty room & 2 servers between us. They tried but the service was uneven & because of the multiple tickets @ the table, I guess they couldn't do everything @ the same time. Some soups came out before we even got our drinks but then we had to wait for the other soups. Same w/salads & meals, some getting their's much earlier than others. Food was subpar. I would much rather spend my $15.00+ @ P*appadeaux's, @ least I know I'd be getting a hearty, flavorful meal. Had the shrimp/scallops in garlic alfredo sauce & scallops so tiny...not even considered bite size! Also, waitstaff only brought 1 round of cheddar biscuits for the group & never brought another refill until we asked during our dinner. Also, while the food left something to be desired, the outside trash in front of the steps...dirty q-tips?!really needs to be cleaned up & the kids that were skateboarding on your walkways should be told to go home! Sorry, but won't be going there again.

MY REVIEW: After many visits to the Red Lobster on Spencer Hwy, I had only one unacceptable experience. The other visits were, at the very least, average. I could list several blunders made by the waiter, but that is not the point of this review. Prior to leaving the restaurant I voiced my dissatisfaction with the manager.

The management at the Red Lobster on Spencer HWY proved to me that they are dedicated to providing their guests with the best possible experience. On my next visit (06/2011), I was greeted by an attentive and friendly staff. I was formally introduced to the waiter. The waiter was polite and quick. He brought us everything we needed before we had a chance to ask. He came by our table frequently. The food was HOT and freshly prepared. If you want to ensure a great dining experience ask for Jaime. I think he only services the guests at the rear of the restaurant.

I can not say that the service has always been GREAT, but what I can say is that they have the potential to provide a perfect dining experience. Hopefully, I can expect more great times at Red Lobster, because I will undoubtedly be returning.

MY REVIEW: Well, the service was a bit slow as it took forever to get even the salads. I ordered the popcorn shrimp. Definitely prefabbed frozen shrimp similiar to what one can buy in the grocery store. The place was clean for one thing. Staff friendly. Not my first choice for seafood. A locally owned restaurant serves popcorn shrimp and they taste better. THey do not look and taste like "fast food". I am not fond of chains for "fresh" seafood.

MY REVIEW: Family night out party of eleven,:: We were signed ia at 06:15pm , after a 1 hour and 10 min wait . we were told that our names wee not on their list . The young man at the door assured us he wrote our name party of eleven. so the manager was called , he gave some lamo story about the error and told us to we would be seated shortly. The table was dirty it had an oily film which was back in an crampd area where they store hi-chairs and baby seats down from the restrooms The waiter came and stated how busy he was and started to ask 1,2,and 6 year old what did they want to drink not the parents the waiter did not know the menu. and we felt he really did not want to wait on such a large party. The total overall service was horrible for the third time I have been there. When I ask to speak to the manager about the service we waited 15 more minutes and he never came out to hear my concerns. I will never go back to this place and this is not my last letter about this matter.

MY REVIEW: I've been to the Clear Lake location for dinner maybe 3 times in the last 10 years. Never been impressed. Today I met some friends who insisited on Red Lobster for lunch because they wanted the cheese biscuits. Biscuits were as good as ever, but what surprised me was the seafood on the lunch menu was better than I anticipated. Even though the shrimp in scampi were small, the taste was there. And the 2 filets of Crispy Fried Fish were moist & flaky. This combo came with very good mashed potatoes and salad. I think the price was $9 for lunch. Service couldn't have been better. I am surprised how much I enjoyed lunch because I've never had a good meal at dinner---always seemed over-priced for the quality of food. But lunch is priced right and today the food was pretty good. A friend was happy with his stuffed flouder while 2 more liked their clam chowder (served in a bread bowl) and shrimp salad. The lunch menu has some variety and is priced right. Serving sizes were adequate. For dinner there's better options for the same money, but lunch is a good choice.

MY REVIEW: I attended this Red Lobster with my family to celebrate my son's birthday (his request). The ambiance of the restaurant is good and we were welcomed well by the manager. Our servant (whose name begins with "J" but I shall omit) was a totally hyper ADHD young adult, didn't really care and seemed to be reading from a script. As an appetizer, we started with calamari and fried broccoli and red peppers. What came out was fried frozen broccoli, no red peppers and trace amounts of microscopic calamari - for a $10 appetizer it was HORRIBLE and an utter disgrace. I was going to blow my top but held it to keep the evening nice for my son. After the appetizer wipe-out, all of us ordered various shrimp combos - and all arrived on time with order taken correctly. The food was extremely salty and overcooked, and shrimp sizes can be described as "small" by grocery store standards - despite the fact that they are called "large" by Red Lobster. After drinks and tip, I walked out paying $120 for a family of 4. The food stunk, I felt ripped off and would have been better served spending the extra few bucks and going to a high-end restaurant in the City. I will not return to this Red Lobster. Another example of a franchise whose business model revolves around overcharging customers for sub-standard food.

MY REVIEW: I had my order picked up to go. I had seafood gumbo with grilled shrimp salad and shrimp jambalaya. The hostess was on personal phone call all the time I was there while waiting for me order. There was a worker there he was working at the bar, waiting on the table and doing all sorts chores. I do not like the seafood gumbo but everything else was very good. They have my order right and everything was packed in a separate containers.

MY REVIEW: Haven't been here in a while. My wife and I received a gift card, and we did have a taste for the clam strips. We were seated quickly by a young lady who really seemed that she didn't want to be there, let alone talk to anybody. Our waitress was Kayla, and she was the only thing about this visit that was pleasant.

The plate of clam strips were about 60% of the quantity that I remember, let alone being somewhat rubbery. We ordered our meals, they did come out rather quickly. We shared our meals and the scampies were entirely tasteless. The catfish was about the size of what a fisherman would use for bait. The fries were about the size of shoestring potatos. I don't even remember which meals we ordered, they were that unimpressive. Kayla did recommend the chocolate cookie with ice cream for dessert. That was the best part of the meal.

We won't be going back soon. There are enough other seafood restaurants around the Woodlands that if RL wants to survive, they'll have to do better than $75.00 for store bought quality frozen food.

MY REVIEW: We go to this location about 4 or 5 times a year but this last visit may be the end. I was craving those cheddar biscuits (dang, they are good!) and should have left it at that. A basket of bread and a salad would have been enough to satisfy my craving. But, no! I ordered grilled shrimp and hubby ordered shrimp Alfredo. His shrimp were almost microscopic! Mine were average to small in size but tasted like they had been cooked yesterday. Not hot and not firm. Waitress tried hard but we felt like it was her first night on the floor alone. Very disappointed in the food. And the place was almost empty...very unusual. What's going on there?

MY REVIEW: Place is in front of Bayshore Medical Center. Older building with plenty parking. As you walk in you are greeted by a very elderly lady who escorts you to your table.I always thought it was a good idea to have an attractive greeter guide you to your table, apparently not here. The tables are spaced apart nicely. Not too loud in restaurant. Food was good, portions were not overly large. Prices were on the higher side for a casual restaurant. Our waiter was very nice and helpful, I forgot his name so I guess that means he just average.

MY REVIEW: I get a craving for the Popcorn Shrimp, Baked Potato, Cole Slaw & Garlic Cheddar Biscuits a couple of times a month...so I go to this Red Lobster. A few months ago they seated me in the small area right in front of the bar and since then I LOVE going there for a reliably good lunch. Wendy waits on me - she seems to take care of the bar & to go orders and that section. She has known since the 2nd visit what I wanted. I'm not a big seafood fan, but for this simple meal - I'm happy with THIS Red Lobster and especially enjoy checking in with Wendy.

MY REVIEW: We've eaten here before and decided we weren't going to come back to this location, but my husband was craving seafood. The waitress (Jeri) was rude and barely came to our table. The biscuits weren't cooked all the way (and I love me some cheddar biscuits) and we tried to get her attention several times to let her know. No big deal just bring out some more, but we couldn't get her to come back to our table! She passed by 6 times looked right at us and ignored us.

When she finally DID come to the table it was to bring us our appetizer and she was so busy reaching across the table to "refill" our drinks when we didn't ask her to that we didn't even mention the biscuits. I asked for salad dressing on the "side" of my salad and it was drowning in it when she brought it out. COuldn't get her attention to rectify that one either!

By the time we actually got our entrees, neither one of us wanted to stay. It was kind of annoying wathcing everyone around us receive service and we were ignored. Some lady who looked like a customer came over to clear our table for us and when Jeri FINALLY came over, my husband just told her to give us the ticket and some go boxes so we could get out of there. Now I KNOW we won't go back there. And NO we did NOT leave a tip. Just paid the bill and got out of there.
