MY REVIEW: Molina's queso is AWESOME. Molina's Mexican restaurant is one of the top ten reasons Houston earned its Fat City fame...once you eat here, there ain't no sense in eating anywhere else for texmex. Get the Nancy Ames Nachos and you will not be sorry. These may well be the perfect nacho!

I love the old vinegary salsa recipe, and the escabeche (carrots and onions and jalapenos, lightly pickled) plus the new skool roasted tomato salsa they bring.

My usual order is n.a. nachos, queso puffs and mucho chips and salsa. Everything else is good too...the chile relleno, william's plate, enchiladas, tacos al carbon. The pralines served with the check are more addictive than crack!

I have always gone to molina's...even in the old place that is now another mexican restaurant. Molina's bought the old Boston Sea Party bldg and converted. The cool old lights are in the dining room now. I have not been to the hwy 6 place, but might check it out someday. Had bad luck and bad service at the buffalo spdwy location...don't bother with that one.

The Westheimer molina's is the best. nancy ames nachos...I am telling you...get it!!

MY REVIEW: The establishment at this address looked new. Nice traditional mexican restaurant setting. Upon our arrival of five, first impression is usually the mark of good/bad experience. Hostess service was non-exitent. Not friendly at all. The cheese dip was american cheese slices melted in microwave, bland!. The salsa was not any better. Salsa out of the jar is far above this joint's. Fajitas were tough as leather. Soup was served cold and wait staff was unresponsive and super slow. One of the worst dining outings we had in a long time. Our first and definitely last visit.

MY REVIEW: Excellent food! The cheese enchiladas were perfect. Soft and not salty. These are among the best I have eaten in the Houston area. THe cheese dip was great and the service was really good as well. This is one of the better mexican restaurants for price and flavor. Less expensive than P*appasitos with more flavor.

MY REVIEW: Food was really good, service was just okay. The served three different types of salsa with the chips: one mild, one spicy, and one pickled? The "spicy" salsa had a vinegar taste to it, but the mild salsa was delicious.

The chicken in my tacos was moist and flavorful...yum!

Will be back soon...

MY REVIEW: I have to say this was the blandest food I have ever had. The salsa had not bite, even what they said was hot was thin and very little taste. I was very surprized, I had heard so many people brag about this place but I don't get it. I thought for the quality and amount of food the prices were high. I guess if the food would have been wonderful the prices were fair but that was not the case. There are so many better places to eat in the area.

MY REVIEW: This was the worst food I have ever tasted! Chips were old salsa was worse than any what you can buy in the store. Food very bland and the rice was not cooked correctly and the beans were watery and NO favor what so ever. We went for lunch and the service was too slow. Will never go back again. Save your trip and go down the street.

MY REVIEW: Saw something odd last week when I was there for my weekly 'fix' of Molina's. A lady sitting by herself eating a hamburger. After reading the review here I might just have to try it. I thought it was sort of odd to go to a Mexican restaurant and eat a burger but as I was leaving I saw her waiter bring in two huge bags of to-go food.

The food there is always great. The fajitas can sometimes be undercooked but the rest of the food is wonderful. Service is generally good but every once in a while I'll get a trainee that has to be trained. Given that I go once a week to this place it isn't that unusual that I've got a few mediocre waiters. The hostesses are always cute and friendly though.

The Jose Dip is the best cheese dip anywhere. They put taco meat into the cheese dip and their taco meat is already excellent on its own. The crispy tacos are perfectly seasoned. If you're wanting a taco and nearby skip all the chain taco houses and the taco wagons and go here. For about a buck more you'll get something you'll want to go back for.

They have 3 restaurants in town but the Westheimer location is the better of the 3. And I have seen George Bush 1 eating here on more than one ocassion.

MY REVIEW: I went there during the afternoon. The place was pretty crowded during happy hour. The staff was very friendly, the decor of the place is very nice and unique. But the food was not good at all. I am used to real Mexican food. The kind you get at restaurants which have the menus in spanish. This food was not good. It was more "Gringo Mexican Food." Hardly no flavor, the salsa was really bad as well. The man thing is that there was no flavor to the food. Very disappointing especially after looking at the reviews. I prefer P*pp*sito's over Molina's, even though Molina's is way cheaper.

MY REVIEW: We ate here for the first time today. The staff was extremely friendly. The food was wonderful. This has got to be one of the best restaurant in Houston. It will be one of our new "hang outs".

MY REVIEW: I would only go here if I had no other choice. Its on the same level as Taco Cabana-actually that is better. The waitstaff was no prize either. Definitely better places to go than here!

MY REVIEW: Ever thought about ordering a hamburger at a Mexican restaurant? I had been going to Molina's for over 20 years before I finally ordered one and it was great. Flamed broiled like the fajitas.
